We love to offer our guests a slow immersion experience. To connect you to Bali's timeless culture, the incredible beauty of its nature, and to each other.

We want to offer you experiences to share, memories to take home of a taste of the quieter life living close to nature and the Gods.

You can do as little, or as much as you'd like from the property, which is central to Ubud and easy for day tours if you want to venture further afield. Here's a sample of what you can experience:

An immersion in nature

Sleep within living, breathing nature . Your Joglo is hand carved  from antique and recycled timber using local building techniques.  Enjoy the cool breezes that sweep across the rice fields at night, and awken to green rice field vistas, and the fresh smell of rural morning.  You'll watch the fireflies glowing across the fields at night, and occasionally the odd visitor - such as geckos who keep the mosquitoes at bay.

Shower in the open air

Every  bathroom is open to nature -  to the sky, across the rice fields or overlooking the ravine at the back of the property. Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature and warm tropical air from your bath.

Eat fresh, organic, locally sourced food

Our open air restaurant pavilion serves complimentary breakfast each morning between 730 and 930am. The Organic Farmer Restaurant serves lunches and dinners a la carte, sourcing ingredients from both our own and other local farms.

Relax in the tropical rice field pool

Take a refreshing dip, then read or daydream under a shaded sunbed. The pool also has a small outer perimeter for younger children

Pick organic produce from the Food farm

Take a walk through the seasonal food farm. Some of the food we grow might surprise you! You're welcome to pick your produce to add to your meals.

Visit the animals in their custom Joglos

You'll see an assortment of animals in their own custom built "Joglos" as well as the usual rice field creatures including fireflies and geckoes  The food farm and animals work together to produce food. See how animal waste produces compost which produces the food we grow.

Learn to cook Indonesian style

Our chefs offer private cooking lessons in our restaurant kitchen. You will learn traditional Balinese cooking styles using the famous Bumbu Bali spice base. Choose your favourite dishes for a culinary feast afterwards

Enjoy a private spa treatment

We offer in house massage, flower baths and healing treatments using trained local therapists. Ask us for more details.

Watch the rice farmers at work

Our neighbours are rice farmers, and you'll see the traditional methods they use to cultivate the crops.Find out more about the unique Subak system of rice harvesting, the importance of the Gods in the cycle, and why  UNESCO listed it as a world heritage system

Take a tourist walk

Our rice field is a popular tourist walk, level and lined with coconut trees for shade. You'll see local warungs, yoga shalas, spas, local craftsmen and shops along this lively and picturesque path. You'll appreciate the absence of cars, keeping the air so tranquil and clean.

Visit Ubud's temples, galleries and shops

The best way to see Ubud is on foot. You'll see beautifully carved traditional temples, galleries showcasing the creativity of Balinese artists as well as shops selling everything from local souvenirs to up to date fashions.  Ubud Craft Market, and Ubud Royal Palace, are 2 blocks from the start of our rice field.

Get your adventure on

Bali is famous for its smorgasbord of adventure activities from rafting along the Ayung River, climbing Mount Batur at sunrise, cycling from villages through Kintamani, ATV riding and snorkelling amongst sea life. Ask us for your wish and we will help you to make it happen.
