20 minutes walk to the centre of Ubud
Our property is in the Sok Wayah Rice Field, directly off Ubud's main road - Jalan Raya. There's no car access into our rice fields, keeping the fields fresh and tranquil. Transport is by scooter or walking - it's about 20 minutes' level walk along a shady path into Ubud Centre.
Ubud is in Bali's hinterland, and a central base from which to explore the island. From Ubud you can take a day trip to almost anywhere on the island.

Getting around during your stay :
Transport in and out of the rice field is by scooter or by walking.
By walk, Ubud centre is around 20 minutes' walk along a level path, lined with coconut trees for shade. Our rice field walk is one of Ubud's key attractions - you will find local warungs, cafes, spas, yoga shalas, local artists and woodcarvers scattered along the path. The path is also popular for bird walks. You'll see farmers tending their fields, and ducks feeding off the remains of the harvest. At dusk the sunset is truly stunning.
If you prefer a scooter ride into town you can call Gojek - the Uber equivalent for scooters and cars. It's easy to download the app and order a Gojek any time.
If you are an experienced rider you can hire your own scooter - we'll be happy to organise it for you.
